Kelvin Miranda has openly accepted responsibility for the controversy involving him and Kira Balinger, which arose after a woman claimed to be Kelvin’s girlfriend, sparking speculation about their relationship.
Miranda attributed the issues to the complexities of being an actor.
He admitted that his deep immersion in his role caused him to confuse his real feelings with those of his character.
During a press conference for their film ‘Chances Are, You and I,’ directed by Catherine Camarillo, Miranda confessed that he did develop genuine feelings for Balinger during filming.
“Then, nangyari ang magic. Pero, wala kaming naging relasyon,” he added.
Miranda emphasized that their feelings were influenced by their characters. “Sa poster po ng ‘Chances Are, You and I’ ay ako ang demonyo, si Kira po, siya talaga ang angel. She’s like an angel!”
Balinger also acknowledged their mutual attraction. “Hindi naman ako puwedeng magsinungaling sa inyo, dahil tingnan niyo naman si Kelvin, ang pogi niya!” she said.
When asked if their relationship could develop further, Miranda responded, “Only time will tell, ‘di ba?
Miranda concluded by emphasizing their current status: “Ang importante rin ngayon, nandito kami, maayos kami. Friends pa rin kami.”
