A close friend of Karla Estrada has strongly disputed Boy Abunda’s recent comments regarding Daniel Padilla.
The issue arose during Abunda’s appearance on Luis Manzano’s YouTube talk show, where Manzano asked him about the most shocking showbiz breakup he had witnessed. Abunda mentioned that he was particularly surprised by the rumored breakup of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, recalling an interview he conducted with Daniel.
According to Abunda, during this interview, he asked Daniel what could be worse than betrayal, and claimed Daniel responded with “being forgiven.” However, this statement has been challenged by Armand Cruz, also known as Kuya Dho, a close friend of Karla Estrada.
Kuya Dho shared an Instagram Story that included an art card displaying Abunda’s statement along with a video clip from the actual interview.
In the video, Daniel can be heard saying that the worst thing would be “being left by someone you still love,” which contradicts Abunda’s account.
To emphasize his point, Kuya Dho labeled Abunda’s statement as “super fake” and “false.”
