Singer-songwriter JC Regino shared his aspirations on April 26, expressing his desire to release an album of his own.
Regino, 30, made his debut in the music scene last year with the release of his first track, ‘Idolo,’ followed by ‘Tama Na Sa’Kin Ikaw,’ and his latest, ‘Wala Na.’ All of these songs were released under GMA Music.
As a Kapuso artist, Regino emphasized the significance of their support, mentioning that they often reach out to him for new song ideas. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to their projects.
Looking ahead, Regino hopes that the next time they approach him, it will be to discuss his own album. He jokingly added, “I hope the next time they call me, it’s about making an album, haha!”
While Regino previously collaborated with his late father, OPM icon April Boy, on an eight-track album titled ‘IdolStar’ in 2010, he now aspires to release an album featuring songs he has written entirely on his own.
Reflecting on his dreams, Regino expressed his desire to create an album where he is the sole songwriter. He aims to showcase his unique voice and creative vision through his music.
In the meantime, his latest single ‘Wala Na’ is available on all major music streaming platforms for fans to enjoy.
