Kapamilya star Gerald Anderson is gearing up for an exciting new action movie directed by Erik Matti, marking another collaboration between the two following their success with ‘On the Job.’
Anderson revealed he is undergoing intense fight training for the film while balancing his Star Magic basketball training.
“Isa pa ‘yun very exciting kasi nakikita ko vision ni Direk Erik Matti so we’re really excited to start,” he said.
In addition to his film preparations, Anderson discussed his relationship with actress Julia Barretto. When asked about possibly taking their relationship to the next level this year, he responded with optimism. “This is a good year!” he said, but quickly tempered his enthusiasm with, “It’s a good year in general, let’s see!”
When probed about potential marriage plans, Anderson jokingly deflected. “Wala pa naman! Pinawisan ako sa tanong mo! Hindi, joke lang,” he laughed.
He acknowledged their busy schedules, noting that both he and Barretto have numerous projects lined up. “She’s very busy, even busier than me, which is good. She’s got a lot of projects coming up,” he said.
Anderson’s last television appearance was in the 2022 series ‘A Family Affair,’ alongside Ivana Alawi and Sam Milby. He also starred in the movie ‘Unravel: A Swiss Side Love Story’ with Kylie Padilla, released last year.
