Kapamilya actress Elisse Joson recently opened up about her partner McCoy De Leon’s portrayal of “David” in the popular primetime series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ during an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News on Saturday, May 25.
Joson disclosed that she diligently follows her partner’s character every evening.
“Yes gabi-gabi akong nanonood. Nakakainis in a way na nakaka-proud. He’s come a long way,” she expressed.
Additionally, Joson discussed De Leon’s growth as an actor from past performances to the present.
“Napag-uusapan namin ‘yong ganun and it helps us both, minsan nag-ask ako sa kaniya like anong ginawa mo doon, paano mo ginawa ‘yon tapos talagang nakaka bilib rin as me as an audience,” she elaborated.
In terms of their relationship, Joson emphasized their desire to maintain privacy.
“We want to keep our private life private, what you see is what we just want to share,” she clarified.
Their relationship had previously made headlines in 2023 after reports of their separation surfaced, followed by rumors of reconciliation later on.
