Allegations regarding Kapuso actor Xian Lim’s reportedly difficult demeanor on set have been echoed by director and writer Ronaldo Carballo, who shared sentiments similar to those expressed by GMA Network scriptwriter Brylle Tabora in a Facebook post on a lifestyle magazine’s feature of the actor.
In a comment, Tabora expressed frustration, stating, “What a friggin joke, and he’s also super difficult to work with!! Made our lives as TV writers miserable. UGH!”
Carballo further substantiated the issue by sharing a report from a local newspaper, affirming, “YES, ITS TRUE! MATAGAL NANG USAP-USAPAN YAN NA XIAN LIM IS SO DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH, IN ANY TASK THAT IS ASSIGNED TO HIM. ACTING, HOSTING, ETC.”
“I AM SURE, HINDI NA IRI-RENEW NG GMA7 ANG CONTRACT NYAN.”
“HINDI NAMAN SYA SIKAT AT HINDI SYA MARUNONG UMARTE. MAS MARAMING MAS SIKAT, MAS GOOD LOOKING, AT MAS MAHUHUSAY UMARTE NA VERY PROFESSIONAL TO WORK WITH, WHO DESERVE A GOOD BREAK THAN XIAN LIM,” Carballo added.
Referring to a teleserye with Jennylyn Mercado, Carballo noted, “NI HINDI NGA NAG-RATE YUNG TELESERYE NILA NI JENNY LYN MERCADO. HINILA NYA PABABA SI JENNYLYN.”
According to Carballo, Xian Lim exhibits a sense of entitlement and acts as if he were a great writer-director, despite lacking knowledge in those areas.
Carballo emphasized that if an artist is hired as an actor, they should focus solely on their role and avoid meddling in the writing or directing aspects out of respect. While actors can offer input or suggestions, Carballo stressed that they should not undermine the writers’ work or the director’s vision for the project.
He further advised Xian to concentrate on improving his acting skills and to leave projects if he is dissatisfied with the writers or director.
Meanwhile, there has been no response from Xian Lim’s camp regarding these allegations. LionhearTV remains open to hearing his perspective on the matter.
