Surprisingly, Kristoffer Martin and Elle Villanueva’s on-screen chemistry in the hit Kapuso afternoon series ‘Makiling’ has sparked interest among viewers.
However, the question arises: Is her real-life boyfriend, Derrick Monasterio, wary of their chemistry?
Playing the role of the villainous Seb, it was unexpected for many viewers to see a potential pairing with the show’s protagonist, Amira (Villanueva). During a virtual media conference on Thursday, April 25, Martin shed light on their budding love team, assuring his “brother” that it is purely professional.
As in sabay na kaming lumaki sa industriya, kaya ‘yang mga bad blood, wala,” explained the actor.
Moreover, Martin emphasized that Monasterio is not the jealous type but rather someone who appreciates his craft.
Ganoon siya mag-appreciate, so malaking bagay kasi galing kay Derrick,” he noted.
Will Monasterio be comfortable entrusting his girlfriend to Martin?
According to the actor, he will support Villanueva in all her endeavors, even if it means working closely with other leading men.
As ‘Makiling’ approaches its finale week on April 29, viewers can expect more intense scenes at 4 p.m., only on GMA Afternoon Prime.
