ABS-CBN’s Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast, Cory Vidanes, extended warm congratulations to Piolo Pascual for his recent achievement as the ‘Best Actor’ at the 72nd FAMAS Awards.
This heartfelt acknowledgment took place during the Blogcon for the upcoming series ‘Pamilya Sagrado,’ held in Quezon City on Wednesday afternoon.
Piolo Pascual was honored with the prestigious award for his role in ‘Mallari,’ sharing the recognition with Alfred Vargas for his performance in ‘Pieta.’
“We are very proud of you,” Vidanes conveyed to Pascual during the event, underscoring his remarkable accomplishment in front of the press and the cast of ‘Pamilya Sagrado.’
Vidanes also commended Pascual and the entire cast of the new series for their stellar performance in the pilot episode, which was previewed for members of the media ahead of its premiere.
“Congratulations, you made an excellent pilot,” Vidanes remarked, highlighting the quality and impact of their initial offering.
In addition to recognizing Pascual’s acting prowess, Vidanes expressed gratitude for his mentorship role with young talents like Kyle Echarri, Grae Fernandez, and others involved in ‘Pamilya Sagrado.’
