Former couple Christine Bermas and Nico Locco stirred emotions as they reunited on the set of ‘It’s Showtime’ for the ‘EXpecially For You’ segment, where Bermas was featured as a searchee on Tuesday.
During their appearance, Bermas and Locco shared insights into their two-year relationship, which ended in a breakup. Bermas expressed her emotions, revealing that seeing Locco again brought back memories, and she is still in the healing stage after their split.
“Ngayon ko na lang kasi siya nakita ulit ng ganito after that,” Bermas confessed to the hosts of ‘It’s Showtime.’
She elaborated that their guesting on the show was the first time they met after their breakup, and she is still processing her feelings regarding their relationship.
“Nag-suffer ako ng 2 years eh. Almost 2 months. February, like recently. That’s why I cried,” Bermas shared, indicating the emotional impact of their reunion.
Locco, on the other hand, acknowledged that their relationship was not perfect and had its share of misunderstandings.
“Ayoko mag excuses eh, I’m not gonna stand here and make excuses pero, relationships are black and white. Lots of grays and ibang colors so maraming nangyayari sa isang relationship, hindi perpekto ang relationship namin, maraming times na nag-separate, nag-balik ganun paulit-ulit hindi siya perfect, ako hindi ako perfect, marami akong kasalanan sa buhay ko and I’m sure everybody’s watching this may kasalanan din sila. Unfortunately, nag fail ako sa itong relationship. Yeah, that’s all I have to say,” Locco stated.
Despite their breakup, both Bermas and Locco admitted that they still have feelings for each other. Bermas revealed that seeing Locco again triggered feelings of love, while Locco emphasized that the love he felt for Bermas has not vanished.
“Mahal ko pa rin. Hindi mawawala ‘yun agad when you loved somebody and you spend two years of your life with them hindi mawawala agad. So after seeing her, may love pa rin sa puso ko so, pero gusto ko ang best para sa kaniya and for her to be happy so importante na happy siya kahit wala ako sa life niya,” Locco expressed.
Their reunion on ‘It’s Showtime’ was significant, as it provided them with closure and an opportunity to reflect on their relationship.
As they move forward separately, Bermas and Locco expressed gratitude for the chance to reconnect and reflect on their past. Their appearance on the show served as a reminder of their shared history and the importance of closure in moving on.
