Fashion icon Heart Evangelista revealed on May 2 that her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, approved of her decision to show some skin in some of her Instagram posts.
During a quick interview at the Brooklyn Warehouse in Manila, Evangelista, Avon’s newest ambassador, shared her conversation with her spouse. She asked for permission from Escudero and received his approval.
“Super proud! I asked him about it and he said, ‘Go! Go for it! Now is the time!’ And I feel like it’s perfect timing for me,” she said.
In a recent Instagram reel, Evangelista shared a clip of her bonding with two other women while only wearing a bra top. When it comes to flaunting her body, the fashion icon admitted she mustered the courage after realizing she needed to love herself more.
“Siguro it’s all about experience in life. When I was younger, I wasn’t very forgiving with myself. I was very hard on myself. As you get older, you sort of help yourself, and you love yourself more, so your confidence increases,” she explained.
Evangelista is the newest ambassador for Avon’s line of intimate apparel. The Intimate Apparel for Avon Philippines was designed for inclusivity and diversity, aiming to empower women to embrace themselves, no matter their shape.
