CenterPlay, City of Dreams Manila’s contemporary bar on the gaming floor known for presenting OPM artists every last Thursday of the month, focuses on Jinky Vidal on May 30. The former female lead vocalist of the iconic 90’s band Freestyle is set to have a live one-night-only concert at 9 p.m.
One of the founding members of the Davao-formed pop band, Jinky rose to fame in the late 90 ‘s and has since been known for her soulful voice and singing prowess with their band’s hit songs including “So Slow,” “This Time”, and “Before I Let You Go”. The OPM singer also released her self-titled solo album in 2005, featuring 13 tracks. Her renditions of Randy Crawford’s “One Hello”, Lani Hall’s “I Don’t Want You To Go”, and Patti Austin’s “All Behind Us Now” also gained popularity. With more than 20 years of music industry career, Jinky continues to be a sought-after pop artist.
Jinky Vidal Live at CenterPlay follows the series of sold-out concerts of other featured OPM icons namely Yeng Constatntino, Raymond Lauchengco, Janno Gibbs, Rey Valera, Ice Seguerra, “Soul Siren” Nina, and The CompanY. The upcoming concert also showcases the Soulmates band and other DJs who are set to perform alternately from 8:00 pm to 1:30 am.
At the CenterPlay Concert Series, guests can reserve a seat or a table with consumables starting at P2,500, comprising of bar nosh, burgers, fries, and beverages. VIP couch seats for a party of eight at P20,000 and VIP Small Tables for a group of four at P10,000 are also available, inclusive of consumables. Designed for the ultimate entertainment experience, CenterPlay is a cool snack and cocktail lounge offering light meals, signature cocktail concoctions, beers, wines, and other beverages, and is built around the circular stage at the center of the main gaming floor.
