Vivamax star Ayah Alfonso is one resourceful woman. Besides her successful career as a sexy actress, she is also the proud owner of a restobar in Maypajo, Caloocan City.
Alfonso opened her Crave Resto and Haya Bar six months ago. She takes pride in their affordable yet delicious menu, designed for the masses.
In a press conference at her restobar on May 4, Alfonso explained why she chose Maypajo as the ideal location for her business. Rather than competing with numerous establishments in Quezon City, she selected Caloocan to make it accessible for everyone looking to have a good time.
At Crave Resto and Haya Bar, customers can enjoy a burger for P39, unlimited chicken wings for P99, or try their signature dish, kare-kare, which Alfonso, a proud Pampanga native, created. They also offer adobo, sisig, and many other Kapampangan dishes.
The sexy star entered the food industry because of her passion. Having studied culinary arts and coming from Pampanga, serving people food was the perfect business for her.
A Business Alfonso Wants to Keep
According to the statistics website Clarify Capital, 40% of businesses fail within their first three years. Considering the risks involved in running a food business, Alfonso explained that it was a goal of hers to maintain this venture even after retiring from acting.
So, habang kumikita ako, sine-save ko. May goal ako yearly na gusto ko sa year na ‘to, may business ako bago matapos ang year na ito,” she said.
The sexy star added, “Ngayon, siyempre, hindi habangbuhay maganda, sexy. Kumukupas ang ganda pero ‘yung pagbi-business, umaangat. Habang kumukupas ka, ‘yung business mo, lumalago.”
Her business is still young, so she has no immediate plans to expand. Alfonso said they will only consider expansion once the main branch has established itself.
Kasi po after a year, what if ayaw na ng owner na i-renew kami. So, malaki ang mawawala sa amin. So, eto na lang po muna. Mage-expand na lang po kami siguro ‘yung alam naming hindi kami talo ‘pag nagkataon,” she said.
Aside from owning a restobar, the sexy star wants to venture into the realty and aesthetic industries.
