Ana Ramsey denies Willie Revillame poached her from ‘It’s Showtime’

Rumors have been circulating that host Ana Ramsey was poached by Willie Revillame from ‘It’s Showtime,’ but Ramsey clarified the situation, stating that her transition was above board and amicable.

On Wednesday, Ana was introduced by MQuest Ventures as one of the three female co-hosts, collectively known as the Win Girls, for Revillame’s new show on TV5. Ana is well-known as a Kapamilya radio DJ and a host of ‘Showtime Online U,’ the online segment of ‘It’s Showtime.’ Some speculated that Revillame lured her away due to her excellent hosting skills and singing talent.

However, Ana explained that she and the other Win Girls, Inday Fatima and Queenay Mercado, all went through a proper audition process.

Ana emphasized that her departure from ‘It’s Showtime’ was handled professionally and respectfully.

“The moment na na-finalize na po ang lahat, nagpaalam ako ng maayos,” she said. “Sabi ko, sasabihin ko talaga sa kanila because naging maayos ang relationship ko sa kabila and talagang very supportive naman po sila dito sa bagong landas na aking tatahakin. So ayan, very smooth naman po ang transition.”

With this clarification, it’s clear that Ana was not poached by Revillame, as she auditioned for the role and left ‘It’s Showtime’ on good terms. Hopefully, this will put an end to the speculations surrounding her move.
