In just her fourth Vivamax project, sexy actress, Vern Kaye, admitted on March 23 that she cried while filming her latest movie, ‘Kasalo.’
She began her story by verbally complimenting Director Howard Yambao, the cast, and the production team during the film’s press conference at Viva Cafe.
“Sa totoo lang, like favorite ko talaga si Direk,” she began. “Totoo talaga ‘yan, galing sa puso. Ang sarap niya pong kasama as director. Tapos ‘yung mga staff po, wala po talaga akong masabi, speechless; sobrang bait po nila. And ‘yung mga co-stars ko po, napakasarap pong kasama.”
The sexy actress had no problems in acting because of the team. However, there was a time when she was pressured by Yambao, to the point that she broke down.
“So hindi po ako nahirapan masiyado, char. Kaunti lang, light lang. With the help of Direk Howard, hindi po ako nahirapan. May times po na na-pressure ako na umiyak ako pero talagang sa lahat ng direktor, no jokes talaga, sobrang bait ni Direk.”
To provide context, the director explained what happened before one of his talents experienced an emotional breakdown. According to Yambao, he complimented Kaye after they shot an intense scene with co-actor, Rash Flores.
However, when she had to do her first scene with Albie Casiño, she seemed to go back to square one. This frustrated Yambao, although not because of the sexy actress, but because of the situation.
“Actually, hindi naman ako nagagalit sa kanya; but I was kind of frustrated with the situation plus we lacked time and it was our second day,” explained Yambao. ”Kaya siya naiyak because I was frustrated with the paulit-ulit because I think na she’s in her head, na you were already good, na you were doing it with Albie for like a day and more tapos biglang nagkaganoon.”
“She was frustrated with herself,” continued the director.
He personally talked with Kaye not to scold her but help her get her head into the game.
“Kaya ko siya pinalabas it’s not because nagkamali siya, it’s more on get the nerves out because you were good.”
Yambao also realized, “Hindi na kita babatiin next time.”
