Veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin recently disclosed that actress Ria Atayde is allegedly three months pregnant with her and partner Zanjoe Marudo’s first child, as per her insider source.
During her program ‘Cristy Ferminute,’ Cristy emphasized the importance of confirmation directly from the couple or their families regarding Ria Atayde’s pregnancy.
“Tungkol po doon sa pagdadalantao ni Ria Atayde, mas maganda po kung diretso nating maririnig ang pag-amin mula sa mag-asawa o kaya ay sa kani-kanilang pamilya,” Cristy remarked.
However, she added that their source shared that Ria Atayde is currently three months along, which has brought much joy to both the Marudo and Atayde families.
The couple’s hasty wedding was reportedly linked to Ria’s pregnancy, according to previous reports.
Nevertheless, Ria’s sister Gela refuted the claims, stating during an interview with ‘TV Patrol’ that Ria has polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
“My sister has PCOS and it would be a miracle if she has a child,” Gela clarified.
Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo formalized their union through a civil ceremony conducted in Quezon City on March 23, 2024. Following the intimate ceremony, the couple’s close relatives and friends congregated at the Concept Space Manila in Congressional Avenue, Quezon City, to partake in the joyous occasion.
The wedding reception served as a gathering of the couple’s loved ones, including family members and friends from the showbiz community, who came together to extend their heartfelt congratulations and celebrate the newlyweds’ special day.
