Talent manager and comedian Ogie Diaz has clarified that he holds no grudge against Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez.
In the latest episode of his vlog ;Showbiz Update,; Diaz addressed speculations from fans of Gutierrez suggesting that he might harbor negative feelings towards the actress due to his frequent praise of the Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino tandem.
“Nagre-react ‘yong mga fans ni Janine Gutierrez. Bakit daw parang galit ako, or may sama ako ng loob, or parang ayaw ko si Janine,” Diaz explained. “Ganyan. Kasi nga, inamin ko raw na KimPau fan ako.”
Diaz clarified that their reports simply reflect their observations and that they do not target Gutierrez in any way.
“Hindi namin tinitira dito si Janine. Binabalita lang namin dito. Alam n’yo, ito ang gusto kong sabihin sa inyo, ha, walang makakaawat sa akin,” Diaz stated. “Syempre, hindi n’yo naman kami pwedeng diktahan kung anong gusto naming sabihin; gawin naming opinyon dito.”
He acknowledged that not everyone will agree with their reports, especially die-hard fans of certain celebrities.
“Syempre, may mga pagkakataon na hindi n’yo magugustuhan ‘yong mga binabalita namin. Lalo na kung sobra kayong fanatic sa isang celebrity,” Diaz added.
He also emphasized that they are free to express their opinions and statements on their respective social media accounts.
In a recent ‘Showbiz Update’ episode, Diaz shared insights suggesting that Gutierrez initially may have had reservations about working with Paulo Avelino, based on information he received.
