Kapuso star Mavy Legaspi has broken his silence regarding his romantic life, shedding light on recent speculation surrounding his relationship status.
Legaspi revealed that he is currently single and not actively seeking a romantic partner. He emphasized his focus on self-love and his dedication to his craft in acting, expressing gratitude for the opportunities presented to him in his career.
Additionally, Legaspi addressed the teasing between himself, Kyline Alcantara, and Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto during a recent guest appearance by Alcantara on the noontime show ‘It’s Showtime.’ Despite the playful banter, Legaspi assured that he and Espanto maintain a close friendship, both on and off-screen.
“I have no problem kasi Darren and I are very close friends. Again, what you see on TV is what you get. Pero behind closed doors, nagme-message message kami ni Darren so we’re very good,” he answered.
Moreover, Legaspi’s twin sister, Cassy Legaspi, clarified their relationship with Espanto, affirming that they are best friends. Cassy also defended their mother, Carmina Villarroel, against misconceptions stemming from her social media posts, explaining that her posts are simply inspirational quotes and do not pertain to their personal relationships.
“Speaking for my mom na lang, si Mommy kasi nagpo-post lang siya ng mga quotes. Random, as in, araw araw may mga inspirational quotes. Minsan nga mga Bible verses kasi wala lang, trip lang ni Mommy. It really has nothing to do with anything and anyone,” he shared.
Legaspi’s candid remarks offer insight into his personal life amid ongoing speculation, providing clarity on his relationship status and addressing recent interactions with his fellow entertainers.
