Actor Martin Del Rosario expressed his gratitude to GMA Network on March 16 for the continuous trust it has given to him.
Del Rosario had two consecutive projects, both antagonists. He starred in the Filipino live adaptation of the anime ‘Voltes V: Legacy,’ playing the main villain, Prinsipe Zardos, before becoming Jeffrey Manansala in ‘Asawa ng Asawa Ko.’
He also had a short stint at the latest Kapuso show “Lilet Matias: Attorney-At-Law,” where he played the young Ramir Matias.
Without having to take a bit of a break from acting, Del Rosario felt blessed because it impacted his career in a big way. By having Voltes V and Asawa ng Asawa Ko, he knew GMA Network trusted in his capabilities.
“’Yung part na consecutive sila, magkasunod sila, ‘yun ang malaking impact nila for my career,” said the actor during the press conference of Asawa ng Asawa Ko at Paramount Coffee in Davao del Sur. “Kasi, ibig sabihin, patuloy pa rin ang pagtitiwala ng network sa akin.”
Overwhelmed, Del Rosario promised he would always do his best in the next projects the network would give him.
“Kaya gusto ko pong magpasalamat sa GMA sa tiwala and pinapangako ko sa kanila na sa lahat ng projects na ibibigay nila sa akin, gagawin ko talaga ‘yung best ko.”
Del Rosario and Asawa ng Asawa Ko co-star Liezel Lopez were in Davao del Sur to celebrate with Davaoenos as they commemorate the 87th Araw ng Dabaw. They were joined by Jennylyn Mercado of “Love.Die.Repeat.” in the festivity at the Gaisano Grand Citygate Mall in Buhangin, Davao City.
