Kapuso star Marian Rivera recently shared on March 19 her excitement and pride to headline GMA Network’s upcoming fantaserye ‘My Guardian Alien.’
Her enthusiasm stemmed from the show itself, as the network presented a project that would make her children proud.
The show marks her return to doing teleserye, and being a mom of two, it was definitely “worth the wait.”
So, ito ‘yung ‘My Guardian Alien.’”
Meanwhile, her return did not come without any challenges. After a five-year hiatus, Rivera admitted being lost amid taping, but thanks to her cast members and production team, she found her stride.
Kasi after five years, na nagbabalik akong soap, hindi ko alam kung saan ang anggulo ko, nasaan ang lighting, nangapa talaga ako.
“Even the lines kasi parang medyo nahirapan— parang ang hirap mag-memorize ng lines and everything.
The series also includes Gabby Concepcion, Max Collins, Gabby Eigenmann, Raphael Landicho, Kiray Celis, and Arnold Reyes. It will also feature Tanya Gomez, Tart Carlos, Marissa Delgado, Christian Antolin, Josh Ford, Caitlyn Stave, Sean Lucas, and Kirst Viray.
Directed by Zig Dulay, ‘My Guardian Alien’ family series will have its pilot episode on April 1. It will replace Jennylyn Mercado and Xian Lim’s ‘Love. Die. Repeat.’
