Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera remains unperturbed by the label of being “intimidating” when it comes to her on-set demeanor, showing a mature and composed response to such perceptions.
In a recent media event for her upcoming TV series ‘My Guardian Alien,’ held on March 21, Rivera shared her perspective on the matter. Despite frequently hearing that others find her intimidating, especially among fellow artists she collaborates with in television dramas and films, Rivera expressed a calm acceptance of this perception.
“Okay lang iyon, ganoon talaga, normal lang iyon. Parang lahat naman ng tao parang kapag bago talaga, ganoon ang nararamdaman nila, so, okay lang,” remarked Rivera during the press conference.
During the event, veteran actress Marissa Delgado, who co-stars with Rivera in the series, was asked about her experience working alongside the acclaimed actress. Delgado, portraying the role of Katherine’s stern mother-in-law, shared her initial apprehension but later expressed admiration and warmth towards Rivera.
While Delgado admitted feeling some trepidation during their first project together, she emphasized the growing camaraderie and comfort she now feels with Rivera on set.
“At saka nu’ng una natatakot ako, hindi na ngayon. Medyo ilag ako, siguro dahil tagahanga niya ako. Gandang-ganda ako sa batang ito,” Delgado shared, reflecting on the evolution of their working relationship.
Rivera’s composed response to being labeled “intimidating” showcases her professionalism and maturity in handling such perceptions within the industry.
