According to reports, Star Cinema is considering producing a sequel to ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye,’ with the possibility of it being an official entry in the 50th edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) later this year. The film is expected to feature Kathryn and Alden in leading roles once again.
Furthermore, industry rumors suggest that the sequel will be helmed by renowned director Cathy Garcia-Molina, known for her track record of directing successful films.

Meanwhile, the MMFF 2023 entry ‘Rewind’ has made headlines by becoming the highest-grossing film in Philippine cinema history, surpassing the previous record held by ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye.’ ‘Rewind’ achieved this milestone by grossing P889 million worldwide as of January 26, eclipsing the total worldwide earnings of ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye,’ which stood at P880 million.
