Last weekend, Kapatid Network TV5 premiered its latest public affairs magazine show, ‘Kapatid Mo, Idol Raffy Tulfo.’ How did it fare in the TV ratings?
According to the most recent ratings report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, KMIRT made its debut towards the lower end of the overall Sunday ratings chart.
During its inaugural episode on Sunday, April 7, the Kapatid magazine program scored a rating of 2.4 percent, placing 18th in the overall ratings lineup. In contrast, its competitor Kapuso program, BBLGANG, secured the top spot in the timeslot with a rating of 7.8 percent, claiming the third position on the ratings chart.
The pilot episode featured various topics, including the violent demolition in Sitio Balabad, Angeles City, Pampanga, and the tragic incident involving the killer footbridge in Brgy. Tayuman, Binangonan, Rizal, which resulted in the death of a teenager, and the viral sensation, Dwight ‘Boy Batas’ Albajeso.
Meanwhile, the top spot on the Sunday leaderboard was retained by ‘Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho,’ maintaining a strong rating of 17.7 percent. Following closely behind was the Kapuso sitcom ‘Walang Matigas Na Pulis Sa Matinik Na Misis’ with a rating of 9.3 percent. After ‘BBLGNG,’ which secured the third position, was the Kapamilya teen reality singing competition ‘The Voice Teens,’ garnering a rating of 6.2 percent.
Rounding off the top 5 Sunday programs was ’24 Oras Weekend,’ earning a rating of 5.8 percent.
