Jillian Ward is all set to grace the screens once again, this time in a cameo appearance as her character Doc Analyn Santos from the popular series ‘Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap,’ in the GMA Prime offering, ‘Black Rider!’
As reported by Lhar Santiago on ’24 Oras’ this Monday, viewers can anticipate an exciting crossover as Jillian shares the screen with Ruru Madrid, portraying the role of Black Rider, also known as Elias Guerrero.
The upcoming cameo promises thrilling motorcycle action scenes, where Doc Analyn will join forces with the Kapuso Primetime Hero.
Expressing her feelings about the experience, Jillian admitted to feeling a bit nervous as it marked her first time riding a motorcycle. However, she expressed confidence, citing the presence of the talented Ruru Madrid as a comforting factor.
“Nakakakaba po kasi ngayon lang ako sumakay ng motor pero siyempre andito naman po ang ating napakagaling na si Sir Ruru kaya medyo nawala po kaagad ang kaba ko,” Jillian said.
In response, Ruru emphasized the need for caution during their scenes, acknowledging the responsibility that comes with ensuring Jillian’s safety on set.
“Siyempre kumbaga nakasalalay sa akin ang buhay ni Jillian Ward, kailangan talaga nating ingatan. Dahan-dahan lang and evenually kanina, nag-motor kami, tinry ko ng konting bilisan para at least masanay siya ng konti,” Ruru shared.
According to Ruru, Jillian’s cameo storyline will originate from ‘Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap’ before transitioning seamlessly into ‘Black Rider.’ In this narrative arc, Jillian’s character will be depicted as a healer, tending to Black Rider’s wounds amidst intense action sequences.
This isn’t the first instance of Jillian’s character, Doc Analyn, making a guest appearance in another Kapuso series. Last year, she made a memorable appearance in the hit murder-mystery show ‘Royal Blood.’
Apart from her cameo in ‘Black Rider,’ Jillian is also gearing up for an upcoming movie project alongside Ken Chan. She is scheduled to embark on international filming endeavors next month.
Fans can catch Jillian’s anticipated cameo on ‘Black Rider,’ airing weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m., following ’24 Oras.’
