Star Music announced the postponement of Janella Salvador’s highly anticipated 10th anniversary concert, ‘Reimagined.’ Originally scheduled for April 19th at the New Frontier Theater, the concert’s delay was attributed to unforeseen circumstances, as stated by Star Music on Wednesday.
Ticket holders have been advised to hold onto their tickets for the rescheduled date or pursue refunds through Ticketnet. Star Music expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the postponement and extended gratitude to fans for their understanding.
‘Reimagined’ was poised to celebrate Salvador’s illustrious decade-long journey in the music industry. The actress-singer herself had expressed immense excitement about the event, underscoring the profound significance of music in her life and career.
Since her debut on the hit series ‘Be Careful With My Heart’ in 2012, Salvador has been a fixture on ABS-CBN, gracing various television programs and films. Notably, she captured hearts with her portrayal of Valentina/Regina Vanguardia in the series ‘Darna.’
Following the renewal of her contract with ABS-CBN, Salvador had revealed her intention to prioritize her music career in the upcoming year. She emphasized that music has always been her passion, even preceding her foray into acting.
Salvador also expressed eagerness to collaborate with local artists, including Denise Julia and the P-pop girl group BINI.
At 25 years old, Salvador boasts an impressive resume, having appeared in several notable television series such as ‘Oh My G!,’ ‘Born For You,’ and ‘The Killer Bride.’ In 2023, she earned acclaim for her performance alongside Piolo Pascual in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry ‘Mallari,’ garnering a Best Supporting Actress nomination.
Despite the setback with her concert, Salvador remains committed to her craft, with upcoming projects including the movie ‘Under Parallel Skies,’ where she is set to co-star with Thai actor Win Metawin, scheduled for release in April.
