Actress-comedienne Herlene Budol has broken her silence regarding the recent uproar surrounding her.
Taking to her Facebook page, she shared her perspective on the circulating rumor alleging that she inadvertently exposed her private area during a live stream.
Herlene wasted no time in defending herself against the backlash she received from online critics.
In her statement, she questioned the significance of the uproar over a seemingly trivial matter like her choice of undergarments.
“Big issue agad sa panty? Personally, I don’t see anything wrong for the panty issue,” remarked Herlene.
She pointed out that she frequently wears swimsuits that reveal much more than what was shown in the viral video.
“Halos abot hanggang langit nga hugis ng swimsuit ko, tapos ito panty lang,” Herlene emphasized.
Additionally, she reminded everyone that making mistakes is a part of being human.
“Well, its part of human error & always remember mistake is part of human being,” Herlene added.
The incident occurred during Herlene’s Instagram Live session last Thursday, April 4, while she was enjoying dinner.
However, just before concluding her live stream, she got up as if to fetch something, only to realize that she was not wearing any bottom garment.
“Tingnan mo nakita ba?” she asked her companion.

A few days later, a snippet from her live stream gained traction online and quickly went viral.
This is not the first time Herlene has found herself embroiled in controversy. Towards the end of 2023, she was also caught up in a scandal involving her “Magandang Dilag” co-star Rob Gomez after screenshots of their conversation surfaced online.
Herlene swiftly dismissed rumors suggesting she was pregnant and that Rob was the father.
“Showbiz nga talaga! Pag dedicated ka sa trabaho. Gagawan ka ng issue!” she remarked.
