GMA Network’s top-rating family game show ‘Family Feud’ saw a remarkable surge in ratings during its episode featuring the ‘It’s Showtime’ family, according to the latest ratings report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey.
On Monday, April 8, the hosts of ‘It’s Showtime,’ led by Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis, appeared as guest players on the Dingdong Dantes-hosted ‘Family Feud.’ This particular episode achieved a rating of 10.7 percent, securing the fifth position among all TV programs for that day.
The Monday episode of Family Feud showed a significant improvement in ratings, jumping by 3.6 percent from its Friday ratings of 7.1 percent. Moreover, its ranking surged by five places, climbing from the tenth position. The game show had been averaging a rating of 7.6 percent for the previous week, indicating that the appearance of the ‘It’s Showtime’ family had a substantial impact on the show’s viewership.
This episode of It’s Showtime’s Family Feud followed another ratings triumph when the Kapamilya noontime show debuted its simulcast airing on the Kapuso network.
On Saturday, April 6, It’s Showtime’s debut airing on GMA Network garnered a rating of 9.7 percent, comfortably surpassing its noontime rival ‘EAT…Bulaga,’ which achieved a combined rating of 4.4 percent from TV5 and RPTV.
