The fashion designer shared her frustrations through an Instagram story posted on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
Expressing her dismay, Ella questioned the credibility of purportedly reputable Philippine news sources, particularly their tendency to sensationalize gossip or narratives that lack substantiated evidence.
Her remarks were prompted by the circulation of rumors surrounding her brother, Donny Pangilinan, notably speculations suggesting a romantic involvement with fellow artist Kathryn Bernardo, both of whom are managed by the Star Magic talent agency.
The speculation intensified following commentary by showbiz insider Ogie Diaz in his vlog, where he discussed alleged romantic connections between Donny and Kathryn, alongside mentions of actors Alden Richards and Jericho Rosales, who were also rumored to be courting Kathryn.
As of the latest update, Donny Pangilinan has refrained from addressing the swirling rumors linking him romantically to Kathryn Bernardo. Instead, he remains focused on wrapping up his teleserye, ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ alongside co-star Belle Mariano. Meanwhile, Kathryn recently commemorated her 28th birthday and hosted a housewarming event at her new residence.
