Denise Esteban, starring in the upcoming Vivamax film ‘Stag,’ voiced her reservations about stag parties on April 2, emphasizing that they offer no advantages and only drawbacks.
Traditionally, a stag party is organized for a groom-to-be as a celebration of his last days of bachelorhood before his wedding. Typically involving activities such as drinking, socializing, games, and sometimes other forms of entertainment, these parties are arranged by the groom’s friends or close relatives.
Esteban expressed concerns about the nature of such celebrations, suggesting they might encourage infidelity. “Kasi sinasabi po nila huling kasalanan, ‘diba? So noong hindi pa kayo kinakasal marami na kayong kasalanan ganoon?,” she remarked.
Given the opportunity to organize a bachelor’s party herself, Esteban expressed a preference for a more intimate celebration.
‘Stag,’ directed by indie filmmaker Jon Red, features Esteban alongside Gold Aceron, Arah Alonzo, Aerol Carmelo, Allan Paule, Yda Manzano, and Jaime Fabregas.
Catch the film exclusively on Vivamax starting April 5th.
