During a media conference for his latest film ‘G! LU’ at KAO Manila in Newport World Resorts on April 17, actor-businessman David Licauco revealed his efforts to encourage his on-screen partner Barbie Forteza to venture into entrepreneurship.
“Sinasabi ko nga sa kanya na mag-business siya, na mag-open siya ng sarili niyang restaurant,” Licauco shared with the press.
Drawing from his own experience managing three establishments, Licauco emphasized the importance of diversifying income streams for financial stability. He suggested that for Forteza, who shares a passion for coffee, establishing a cafe could be a lucrative venture.
“Of course, mas maganda ‘yung mayroon kang stability. Of course stable naman siya pero additional lang,” Licauco added.
“Oo, baka gusto niyang gumawa ng coffee shop.”
The actor himself owns Kuya Korea, a casual restaurant in Quezon City, along with Sobra Cafe and a construction company.
As their fans eagerly await the release of ‘G! LU’ on April 24, the BarDa supporters (referring to Barbie and David) continue to show their enthusiasm for the duo’s endeavors.
