Box office director Cathy Garcia-Molina has refuted rumors surrounding actor Daniel Padilla’s purported obstruction of the sequel to the beloved film ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye.’
In a report published on Thursday, April 11, Molina addressed the issue in a recent interview, asserting that Daniel lacks the authority to impede such a significant project like the sequel to ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye.’
“Hindi naman si Daniel. Hindi naman kayang hadlangan ni Daniel ang gano’ng kalaking proyekto,” emphasized the director.
Molina went on to stress that Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel’s partner and co-star, has autonomy over her decisions. “At saka si Kathryn ay may sariling isip. ‘Pag gusto niya, gusto niya,” she added.
Moreover, Molina disclosed that there has been no official confirmation regarding the sequel’s production, although they are open to the possibility.
“Wala pang confirmation. Lahat kami ay umaasa pa lang na sana nga, ‘no? Kung ang ibang tao ay gusto, kami din gusto namin,” she remarked.
In recent developments, netizens speculated that progress is being made toward the sequel following Director Cathy’s Instagram post, where she was seen at the Hong Kong International Airport alongside Star Cinema’s Creative Head, Carmi Raymundo.
Fans have long expressed their desire for a continuation of ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye,’ and with Kathryn Bernardo currently single, anticipation for the sequel has heightened.
