Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban poured her emotions into her wedding vows, expressing resilience despite past heartbreaks.
The actress was moved to tears as she exchanged vows with her husband, Gregg Homan, during their beachfront ceremony in Siargao, held just last week.
In an Instagram reel capturing the poignant moment, Angelica candidly reflected on her journey, acknowledging the trials and tribulations she had endured in matters of the heart. Despite the pain she had experienced, Angelica remained steadfast in her belief that true love would eventually find its way to her.
“Ilang beses din akong nadapa, nasaktan, umiyak. Pero ni minsan, hindi ako sumuko sa pag-ibig,” Angelica confessed tearfully as she addressed her husband, Gregg. Her words carried the weight of her past struggles, yet they also exuded hope and resilience.
“Alam kong darating din ang panahon na ibibigay din sa akin ng Bathala ang karapat-dapat. At dumating ang araw na hindi ko malilimutan—dumating ka. Ikaw ang naging sagot sa lahat ng bakit ko noon. Dahil sa ‘yo, naging sapat ako.”
Angelica’s heartfelt message extended beyond her personal journey, touching upon the profound lessons she had learned through motherhood. She credited her daughter, Amila Sabine, affectionately known as Baby Bean, for teaching her the true essence of unconditional love.
“Salamat dahil hindi lang ikaw ang dumating. Dumating ang isang tao na hihigitan pa ang kapasidad kong magmahal nang dumating si Bean sa buhay natin,” she shared. “Pangakong hindi na ako matatakot, at sasanayin ko na ang sarili kong may nagmamahal sa akin nang totoo at nag-aalaga nang wagas. Kasi ang sarap pala kapag nasusuklian lahat ng binibigay mo. Habang buhay, mahal kita.”
The actress expressed gratitude for the transformative power of love, acknowledging the profound impact her husband had made in her life. “You became the answer to all my questions. Because of you, I became enough,” she declared, her voice trembling with emotion.
Angelica’s wedding, attended by a constellation of stars including Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Glaiza de Castro, Maxene Magalona, Bela Padilla, and Ketchup Eusebio, among others, was a testament to the enduring power of love. The couple had initially exchanged vows in the United States on December 31, 2023, marking the beginning of their journey together.
As Angelica and Gregg embarked on this new chapter of their lives, their union symbolized not only a celebration of love but also a testament to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity.
