Actor Albie Casiño said on March 23 that he wants to work with Vivamax Darryl Yap despite being on the opposite sides of the political spectrum.
During the 2022 elections, Yap and Casiño had different political affiliations. The Vivamax director supported the now-Philippine President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcus Jr., while the actor supported then-Vice President Leni Robredo.
Now that the elections are way past done, and the leader of the country has been determined, the “Kasalo” star is opening his doors to working with the director.
When asked during his latest film’s press conference at Viva Cafe, Casiño responded with eagerness.
“Bakit naman hindi? I don’t think— someone— parang for me, someone’s political views, someone’s religious views, hindi ‘yan barrier sa akin para hindi tayo magkatrabaho,” he replied.
The actor added, “Just because we don’t see eye to eye at some aspects hindi na ibig sabihin nun hindi na tayo p’wedeng mag-co-work.”
