An exciting Saturday awaits Filipinos in Antipolo, Rizal as ABS-CBN’s “Bida Kapamilya” event will bring the fun to Antipolo with a free watch party of the historic airing of “It’s Showtime” on GMA this Saturday (April 6).
Everyone is invited to commemorate the special episode that will have a grand birthday celebration of Vice Ganda with the “It’s Showtime” family.
The Bida Kapamilya event, which will happen from 8 am to 3 pm at the Ynares Center, will also feature performances from BINI and the stars of “Can’t Buy Me Love” including Joao Constancia, Vivoree, Albie Casino, and Gello Marquez.
“Tawag ng Tanghalan” season 7 grand champion Rea Gen Villareal together with “TNT” alumni Anthony Castillo and Lorraine Galvez will also perform at Ynares Center and will serve as judges for the “TNT sa Barangay” singing contest.
Auditions for “It’s Showtime’s” “Tawag ng Tanghalan” and “Expecially for You” will also happen at the event.
Meanwhile, Filipinos in Malolos, Bulacan enjoyed special performances from Kapamilya stars who entertained them as a way of showing their gratitude for their love and support during the March 23 leg of ABS-CBN’s “Bida Kapamilya.”
“Linlang: The Teleserye Version” stars JM de Guzman, Kaila Estrada, Anji Salvacion, and Kice thrilled the crowd in Malolos with their performances, while select fans played patintero with members of the P-Pop group, BGYO, who also hyped up the audience with their electrifying song and dance numbers.
Three aspiring singers from Bulacan even had the chance to experience what it’s like to be a contestant in the hit “It’s Showtime” segment “Tawag ng Tanghalan” as they sang their hearts out in Bida Kapamilya’s “TNT sa Barangay” competition.
Fans were treated to free ice cream, haircut, and a screening of “Hero City Kids,” while lucky raffle winners took home grocery packs, t-shirts, fans, posters, and stickers.
