GMA’s weekend reign continues as its afternoon prime dramas ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap (AKNP)’ and ‘Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (KMJS)’ maintain their dominance on the Saturday and Sunday ratings charts.
In the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, AKNP reclaimed the top spot on Saturday, while KMJS continued its Sunday supremacy.
On Saturday, April 13, AKNP topped the ratings with 10.4 percent, tied with the Kapuso drama anthology Magpakailanman. Last week, on April 6, AKNP ranked second, with a rating of 10.7 percent, just behind Magpakailanman.
Following AKNP and ‘Magpakailanman’ is ‘Tadhana’ in second place with 8.7 percent, and ‘Pepito Manaloto’ in third with 8.4 percent. Kapamilya noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ secured the fourth spot with 7.6 percent, while ‘Wish Ko Lang’ completed the top 5 Saturday programs with 7.0 percent.
For Sunday, April 14, KMJS maintained its lead with an impressive 17.1 percent rating on the overall weekend chart.
Following closely was the Kapuso sitcom ‘Walang Matigas Na Pulis Sa Matinik Na Misis’ with 9.4 percent. In third place was BBLGANG with 8.8 percent, followed by the Kapamilya teen reality singing competition, The Voice Teens, with 5.6 percent. Sunday’s top 5 programs rounded up with 24 Oras Weekend, registering a rating of 5.4 percent.
