Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista recently shared a deeply personal experience regarding her continued struggle with fertility.
During a candid interview on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,’ Heart revealed her emotional turmoil following the loss of what she referred to as “Sophia Heart.”
Heart clarified that while she wasn’t pregnant at the time, she had experienced the loss of an egg she had already named Sophia Heart.
“We were expecting a baby,” Heart shared during the interview. “I was expecting my only girl that I had left — eggs.”
The actress expressed her profound disappointment and heartache over the loss, admitting that she had been eagerly preparing for the arrival of her baby.
“It just sad because I thought I was going to be able to share what I do with my last girl… Actually I cry not because I wasn’t given what I want… I cried because it took so hard for me to produce the egg,” she tearfully revealed.
Heart’s husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, offered words of solace during the interview, expressing their ongoing hopefulness for the future.
Heart and Chiz, who were married in 2015, have faced previous challenges on their journey to parenthood. Despite setbacks, they remain resilient and optimistic about their aspirations to start a family.
