Actor Paulo Avelino has addressed comments comparing his appearance to that of South Korean actor Park Seo Joon.
Avelino took on the role originally portrayed by Seo Joon in the Philippine adaptation of the popular K-drama series ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.’
During an interview reported by PEP, Avelino was asked about his on-screen chemistry with his co-star.
He noted that Kim’s strength lies in romantic comedy, which differs from the genre of romantic comedies the actress had previously been involved in.

Subsequently, the Kapamilya actor was questioned about his response to social media remarks suggesting he is “more handsome” than the original actor in the series.
“Hindi naman,” Avelino chuckled in response.
“But, I’ve seen the side-by-side kasi minsan we do that sa set. Minsan may mga iconic scene na I’m sure hahanapin ng mga fan ng mga What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” he elaborated.
“Hindi naman, hindi naman,” Avelino reiterated.
