Actor and host Paolo Contis has refuted rumors circulating about his alleged feelings of resentment towards GMA Network, emphasizing his enduring gratitude towards the network.
During the launch event of GMA Entertainment Group’s ‘Basta’t Sama-Sama… Best Time Ever’ campaign, Contis, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, took a moment to express his appreciation for the consistent support he has received from GMA Network.
“Ako, wala po akong wish. Nais ko lang pong magpasalamat sa suporta ng GMA-7 sa akin. Again, I wanna thank GMA for always supporting me, for always supporting the show,” Contis stated.
Addressing the rumors surrounding his alleged grievances with GMA Network, Contis clarified, “May kumalat po na may tampo ako sa GMA. Hindi po ‘yun totoo. Pero pagbigyan na po natin ‘yung mga nagkakalat no’n. Content po nila ‘yon, para po sa kanila ‘yon.”
Contis reaffirmed his affection for the network, stating, “It’s not true. I love GMA, and I’m very thankful to GMA. They’ve been supporting me during the time na kahit hindi ako kasupo-suporta. So walang dahilan para magtampo ako sa GMA.”

In the statement, GMA Network acknowledged TAPE Inc.’s decision to cease the airing of ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya,’ thanking them for their significant contribution to the network’s programming landscape over the decades.
