Young actor Miggy Jimenez has officially joined the prestigious talent roster of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, marking a significant milestone in his career.
The announcement came during the Star Magic Spotlight event on Wednesday, March 14, where Jimenez expressed his gratitude and excitement for the opportunity.
Speaking to the selected media, he shared, “I am super grateful and super happy. It’s a big thing for me. Being a fan of ABS-CBN, now I am officially part of it. I am so looking forward and I can’t wait for more projects.”
For Jimenez, being welcomed into Star Magic represents the realization of a lifelong dream. With a deep passion for storytelling, he aims to use his platform to amplify the voices of marginalized individuals.
“It is a dream come true. So with the passion inside me, I really hope that it will align and I will be given more projects with genres that I hope, I could tell stories of people who are still not being heard,” Jimenez expressed enthusiastically.
Recognized for his standout performance in the recently concluded series ‘Senior High,’ where he portrayed the character Poch, Jimenez has earned acclaim for his acting prowess. Reflecting on his newfound recognition, he shared a mix of overwhelming emotions and a commitment to continuous growth.
“Super overwhelming. I also panic inside but at the same time I try to manage it smoothly, and I think in time I will also learn to handle it well,” Jimenez revealed.
In ‘Senior High,’ Jimenez’s character Poch was involved in a romantic storyline with Zaijian Jaranilla’s character Tim, captivating audiences with their on-screen chemistry.
Looking ahead, Jimenez expressed openness to collaborating with Jaranilla again, whether for a spinoff or a new project. Known as Enriko Mikhail in real life, Jimenez began his television journey at the young age of eight and later pursued studies in Digital Filmmaking.
