The Kapamilya drama-thriller series ‘Linlang’ continues to make a significant impact in the TV ratings game, achieving yet another set of double-digit ratings.
In the most recent Nielsen NUTAM People survey, the teleserye led by Kim Chiu and Paolo Avelino celebrated another triumph, securing consecutive double-digit ratings. On Wednesday, March 6, ‘Linlang’ achieved a rating of 10.5 percent, marking the fourth instance of reaching double digits and setting a new high since February 21, when it scored 10.0 percent.
Notably, the momentum did not wane as on Thursday, March 7, the Kapamilya romance-drama thriller surpassed its previous day’s record, achieving its fifth double-digit rating at an all-time high of 10.7 percent.
This impressive back-to-back performance solidifies ‘Linlang’s’ position as the leader in its timeslot, outperforming its Kapuso counterpart ‘Love.Die.Repeat,’ which recorded ratings of 8.0 percent on Wednesday, March 6, and 8.5 percent on Thursday, March 7.
In addition to securing timeslot dominance, ‘Linlang’ climbed the overall ratings chart, tying for 4th place with the Kapuso afternoon drama ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap,’ and trailing slightly behind the Kapuso primetime action series ‘Black Rider.’
Prior to these record-setting episodes, ‘Linlang’ achieved a 9.8 percent rating on Monday, March 4, followed by a slightly lower 9.7 percent on Tuesday, March 5.
The question now arises: Can ‘Linlang’ sustain this upward trend and maintain its dominance in the timeslot against ‘Love.Die.Repeat’? Only time will tell.
