An exploration of modern simplicity, COS introduces its Spring Summer 2024 campaign starring British and Japanese musician and actor Rina Sawayama alongside English actor Jack O’Connell. Creating a new vision of everyday luxury, a powerfully understated collection, discerning in detail, champions intriguing textures and assertive silhouettes to form an effortlessly timeless wardrobe.
Championing COS’ community and showcasing creative contrasts, the campaign’s diverse cast is shot in Mexico by photographer Karim Sadli. Set against a blue-sky horizon over the ocean, and in the studio, Sadli embraces the peaceful surroundings, capturing the talent in a sequence of captivating images. German models Anna Ewers and Leon Dame, and Argentine model and actor, Mica Argañaraz feature alongside South Korean model, Xu Meen, Canadian model, Awar Odhiang, and Senegalese model, Dara Gueye.
Celebrating simplicity and thoughtful design, the season’s transitional collection balances modernity and traditional craftsmanship. Paying close attention to construction with an emphasis on shape and form, elegant tailoring leans into summer with sleeveless structured blazers and fluid wide-leg trousers. Pursuing an intentional wardrobe, COS revisits timeless staples, refining the classic trench coat, leather biker jacket, and romantic day-to-evening dresses. A curated selection of retro-inspired leisurewear styles and versatile coordinated sets with laser-cut details elevate the everyday.
Nature continues to inspire the season’s palette and prints, leaf designs and soothing neutrals in sand and stone are complemented by a bold yet sophisticated red and varying tones of blue. Accessories are oversized – a leather bag with a slouchy, relaxed profile takes center stage, complemented by a selection of nostalgia-inspired COS × LINDA FARROW sunglasses, completing the season’s look.
