The Kapamilya action-drama series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)’ witnessed a notable decline in ratings as it slipped back to the second position on the overall ratings chart.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey ratings, FPJBQ recorded lower ratings last week, allowing its Kapuso competitor ‘Black Rider’ to gain ground.
On Monday, March 11, FPJBQ garnered a rating of 14.1 percent, trailing 24 Oras, which returned as the overall leader with 15.5 percent. Meanwhile, Black Rider secured a rating of 13.4 percent.
Maintaining its rating on Tuesday, March 12, the Coco Martin-led series held at 14.1 percent, narrowing 24 Oras’ lead to 1 percent at 15.1 percent. Black Rider improved to 13.7 percent, reducing the gap against FPJBQ to 0.4 percent.
However, FPJBQ reclaimed the top spot on Wednesday, March 13, tying with the Kapuso newscast 24 Oras at 14.4 percent. Conversely, Black Rider experienced a slight decrease to 13.6 percent, widening the margin to 0.8 percent.
Nonetheless, on Thursday, March 15, FPJBQ slipped to the second position again, dropping 0.7 percent to a 13.7 percent rating, narrowing its lead against Black Rider to just 0.1 percent, as the latter secured a 13.6 percent rating.
The question looms: will FPJBQ’s underwhelming ratings trend persist, or will it rebound to its former high ratings?
