Darren Espanto’s formal debut as a regular host on the show alongside Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, and Vhong Navarro marks an exciting milestone!
Darren himself confirmed his new role as a regular member of the Kapamilya noontime program.
Expressing his surprise, Darren shared that he didn’t anticipate becoming a regular host on ‘It’s Showtime’. However, he eagerly expressed his readiness to bring joy alongside Vice, Anne Curtis, and Vhong.
“They really didn’t tell me officially. Sinabi lang nila na, ‘Ah si Darren may photoshoot pa after the live show so mag-stay muna ang mga host to shoot a VTR.’ Tapos sabi ko, ‘Hala! Kasama na ako sa photoshoot for the 15th year.’ So walang atrasan na to, totohanan na ito,” he disclosed.
Darren’s journey began on day one when he served as one of the judges on ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’. He highlighted the warm welcome he received from the hosts.
Darren now stands as the youngest regular host on ‘It’s Showtime’, joining Kulot, Argus, Imogen, and Jaze.
Netizens expressed their excitement upon hearing the news of Darren officially joining the program’s hosts.
Starting April 6, ‘It’s Showtime’ will begin airing on GMA Network, marking a new chapter in the show’s history.
