On-screen couple Barbie Forteza and David Licauco revealed they find ways to get to know each other, including mid-flight.
During the Sparkle Canada Tour Media Conference at GMA Studio 7 on March 12, the two were intrigued by the attending press on how they got to know each other amid their busy schedule.
They do it whenever they have the chance, Forteza said. The Kapuso love team was so into conversing they even sacrificed sleeping.
“Actually, oo. Kasi parang ‘yung flight—’yung time namin during the flight, ‘yun lang ang parang chance namin na talagang…hindi ‘yung trabaho, hindi kami naghihintay ng actor’s in. So, nakakapag-tsikahan kami ganiyan papunta na sa, ‘Hindi pa ba tayo matutulog?’” shared the Kapuso actress.
Licauco agreed by saying, “Hopefully makapagtsikahan tayo ulit.”
Apart from having conversations outside of work, the actor also looks forward to his partner’s performance.
“Ako naman excited akong makita ang sayaw at kanta ni Barbie,” teased Licauco. “This time, we are singing and dancing, and I think I also wanna see Barbie in a different country naman, like sa Canada.”
The Primetime Princess and the Pambansang Ginoo are part of GMA Network’s first-ever back-to-back shows in Canada. Dubbed ‘Sparkle Goes to Canada,’ it is a concert that features performances not just from the BarDa pair but also from Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali and Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz.
It is directed by Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan and will start on April 5 at the Southview Alliance Church in Calgary, followed by a Toronto Pavilion show on April 7.
