Fresh from the success of ‘Five Breaks up and a Romance’ alongside Julia Montes, Alden Richards is gearing up to wear multiple hats in his next venture: actor, director, and producer.
In a recent interview with entertainment journalists at the 18th edition of Eastwood Walk of Fame, Richards provided insights into his upcoming endeavor, where he will not only make his directorial debut but also take on the role of producer.
“Ngayon we are down to post-production. I’ve seen the first edit medyo mahaba pa and we need to trim down a bit more. Actually before coming here, galing akong San Pablo [Laguna] nag-shoot ako ng additional scenes, mga wider shots ng film just to make it good and I am very grateful with GMA. Of course, this is a partnership of Viva Films and Myriad Entertainment,” Richards disclosed during the interview.
Richards had previously offered glimpses of his directorial project on social media in the latter part of 2023.
Given his newfound roles in directing and producing, the actor was prompted about the prospect of collaborating with his “Hello, Love, Goodbye” co-star Kathryn Bernardo on a future project.
“Coming soon! Let’s go!” he exclaimed enthusiastically, hinting at an exciting collaboration with Bernardo in the pipeline.
