On February 13, Viva artist Zsara Laxamana recounted her journey from being a member of the Mocha Girls to becoming a Vivamax star.

At the media conference for the Vivamax movie Salisihan, which LionhearTV covered, Laxamana first detailed her recording artist career from Mocha Girls to Polyeast Records.

And then after that, nag-recording artist sa Polyeast records and then Viva. Ayun po.”

Laxamana highlighted how much she always wanted to become an artist, even at a young age.

However, when she didn’t get any showbiz breaks, Laxamana turned to her passion for singing and dancing, which led her to join the girl group.

I’m so blessed nga, thankful for that. PolyEast kung napapanood ninyo.”

Admittedly, she had apprehensions when she received the offer to join the roster of Vivamax artists.

“And then, noong time na-scout po ako as Viva artist, akala ko po Viva artist na pang-wholesome, but then na-shock ako, surprise Vivamax.

I just want to be honest po, kasi parang alam ko po sarili ko na I can sing, I can dance, ganon po. But then, ‘yung offer po sa akin is Vivamax. So parang na-shock ako.”

She considered joining the streaming platform a significant career move.

“Sobrang malaking-malaking step siya for me, pero parang nasagot na lang rin ni Lord na kailangan mong daanan ‘yung challenge na ‘yun, kasi I remember before na ‘yun talaga ‘yung dream ko na maging artista.”

Laxamana then emotionally narrated how she doubted herself and her career path before becoming a sexy artist.

As for their upcoming Vivamax movie, Salisihan stars Zsara Laxamana, Chester Garcia, Amabelle De Leon, and Ralph Christian Engle.

Under the direction of Iar Arondaing, Salisihan streams on February 27 via Vivamax.
