The youth-oriented mini-series ‘Zoomers’ on ABS-CBN concluded its broadcast last week. How did it perform in terms of TV ratings?
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, ‘Zoomers’ achieved a remarkable come-from-behind victory against its Kapuso counterpart, “Jinxed at First (JAF).”
On Monday, January 29, ‘Zoomers’ secured a rating of 2.0 percent, surpassing the pilot episode of JAF by 0.4 percent, which had a score of 2.4 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, January 30, ‘Zoomers’ experienced a slight decline of 0.5 percent, reaching 1.5 percent and trailing behind JAF, which maintained its 2.4 percent rating.
By midweek, on Wednesday, January 31, the Kapamilya mini-series showed a modest improvement, increasing by 0.3 percent to reach 1.8 percent. However, it still lagged behind JAF, which held a 2.6 percent rating, leading by 0.8 percent.
On Thursday, February 1, ‘Zoomers’ witnessed a significant surge, boosting its ratings by 0.9 percent to 2.7 percent, tying with JAF at the 19th spot on the overall ratings chart.
In its finale episode on Friday, February 2, ‘Zoomers’ ultimately surpassed its rival, achieving a rating of 2.7 percent compared to JAF’s 2.6 percent.
Notably, ‘Zoomers’ served as Star Magic’s platform to introduce its newest love team, Criza Taa and Harvey Bautista. The mini-series also featured emerging Star Magic talents, including Luke Alford, Ralph de Leon, and Krystal Ball.
