“It’s Showtime’s” ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ Year 7 concluded with its grand finals last weekend. How did the show fare in the ratings?

According to the most recent Nielsen NUTAM People survey, ‘TNT7 Huling Tapatan’ emerged victorious in the noontime slot, surpassing its competitors ‘EAT…Bulaga’ and ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya.’
On Saturday, January 27, ‘It’s Showtime’ claimed the top spot as the most-watched noontime program, leading the ratings with a 4.8 percent rating. This surpassed ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 4.5 percent and ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’s’ 2.7 percent.

Not only did ‘It’s Showtime’ secure its dominance in the noontime race, but it also achieved an all-time high in TV ratings since the ABS-CBN shutdown. This new record surpassed the previous high of 4.5 percent set on December 16, 2023.
Additionally, ‘It’s Showtime’ reached an all-time high in live concurrent views, garnering a combined total of 313,099 views on YouTube and Facebook. This milestone surpassed their previous record set during TNT Year 6 Huling Tapatan on May 6, 2023, where they had over 255 thousand live viewers.

Prior to this achievement, ‘It’s Showtime’ had last topped the noontime race on January 13, 2024, with a rating of 4.2 percent, surpassing ‘EAT…Bulaga’ by 0.1 percent at 4.1 percent, and ‘Tahanang Pinakamasya,’ which scored 3.2 percent.
