On February 11, actress-producer Sylvia Sanchez attested to how sweet Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza are as a married couple.
At the Chinese New Year party hosted by Beautéderm founder Rhea Tan, which LionhearTV attended, Sanchez recounted some of the affectionate moments she observed between the newlyweds.
“Nakikita ko lang, kapag kumakain silang dalawa, iniintindi ni Maine ‘yung pagkain ni Arjo, iniintindi ni Arjo ‘yung pagkain ni Maine. ‘Yung ang sweet, parang, ‘Oy, kinikilig ako sa kanilang dalawa.’ Pero, inaalagaan nila ‘yung isa’t isa. Tsaka nakita ko ‘yung mahal nila ‘yung isa’t-isa.”
Sanchez opted to not comment on the recent showbiz breakups to avoid connecting it to her son and daughter-in-law’s marriage.
She also shared advice to Atayde and Mendoza in maintaining their marriage.
“Mahalin ninyo lang naman ‘yung isa’t-isa. Ako naniniwala ako na kahit magkahiwalay kayo, at kung mahal ninyo ‘yung isa’t-isa. At kung talagang kayo ang nakatadhana ng Diyos, kahit anong mangyari kayo.
“Hindi, wala, alam naman na nila ‘yun, malalaki naman na sila.”
Atayde and Mendoza officially tied the knot in July of 2023.
As for the event, Beautéderm CEO Rhea Tan celebrated the Chinese New Year with a party in Angeles City over the weekend with celebrities such as Carlo Aquino, Sam Milby, Jai Ho, Ann Feo, Alma Concepcion, Konsi Ervic, Sylvia Sanchez, etc.
The businesswoman also commemorated the first anniversary of her 7-storey building and the establishment of her businesses, such as Beautéderm, BlancPro, Beauté Beanery, BeautéHaus, and A-List Avenue.
