On January 25, Scrubb member Muey detailed how working on the Boys Love TV show 2gether: The Series changed their lives as musicians.
At the media event for Scrubb Live in Manila, which LionhearTV covered, Muey acknowledged how 2gether: The Series impacted their music career, as it further motivated them to write songs.
He then recounted how they began their music careers in 2000. He also noted the struggles and their 2-decade journey as artists in Thailand.
He felt shocked at how writing for the 2gether: The Series helped them gain a new fan base, especially with the younger generations.
Muey promised that they would continue to write more songs with the hopes of touching people’s hearts.
He added that they weren’t expecting their group to reach international audiences.
He then considered themselves lucky to have the chance to perform outside of Thailand and include their songs as part of the soundtrack for 2gether: The Series.
Scrubb is a music act composed of the Thai duo Thawatpon Wongboonsiri (Muey) and Torpong Chantabubpha (Ball). They produced six studio albums throughout their career and sold out several shows in Bangkok and key cities across Asia.
As for their upcoming concert event, Scrubb Live in Manila, actor-rapper Elijah Canlas, and chart-topping singer-songwriter TONEEJAY will be joining the Thai band on February 10, 2024, at the 123 Block in Mandaluyong City, from 6 p.m. onwards.
Scrubb’s performances will include songs from the official soundtrack of 2gether: The Series, which stars global BL icons Vachirawit Chivaaree (Bright) and Metawin Opas-iamkajorn (Win).
