Sarah Lahbati recently disclosed the state of her relationship with husband Richard Gutierrez, revealing a lack of communication between them.
During an interview with MJ Marfori on ‘Frontline Pilipinas,’ Lahbati candidly addressed inquiries regarding the status of their family.
While Lahbati stopped short of confirming a separation from Gutierrez, she admitted to a change in their living arrangements, stating that they have shifted to a co-parenting dynamic for their children Zion and Kai.
“It’s not easy on any child but I’m here for them. And they are better,” Lahbati remarked, underscoring her commitment to their children’s well-being.
When probed about the family’s situation, Lahbati directed the conversation towards their children’s welfare, acknowledging the challenges they face.
“Well of course, it is not ideal for children. Let’s go back to the kids. But that’s life and they’ll be fine,” she expressed.
Lahbati confirmed the lack of communication between herself and Gutierrez, suggesting a strain in their relationship.
Despite the communication gap, Lahbati stressed that their children remain their priority, and their decisions are guided by what is best for them.
“We’re good at parenting. And we are there for the kids. That’s all I’m gonna say,” Lahbati affirmed.
Additionally, Lahbati revealed that she has adapted to the situation and expressed gratitude for the support of her parents and close friends, including Sofia Andres and Kyline Alcantara.
“We to take things lightly or else puputi ang buhok natin at hindi tayo magiging happy,” Lahbati remarked.
Rumors surrounding Lahbati and Gutierrez’s alleged separation emerged in December 2023, gaining traction following comments made by Annabelle Rama regarding their relationship status. However, neither party has issued a direct confirmation of their separation, leaving the matter unresolved.
